Mausi Ji Bhojan Seva
Introduced in 2023, the Mausi Ji Bhojan Seva is a compassionate outreach program of the Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Seva Trust, created to ensure that no family goes hungry during times of celebration. This initiative extends care and dignity to those who face financial or social hardship, especially during major Hindu festivals and auspicious community events.
Key Highlights:
- 🍱 Festival-Day Food Distribution: On special occasions such as Deepavali, Navaratri, Chithirai Thiruvizha, and temple events, the Trust prepares and distributes freshly cooked meals, sweets, and prasadam to needy families in nearby villages.
- 👕 Support Beyond Food: In addition to meals, the Seva includes the distribution of clothes, fruits, and household essentials, helping families celebrate with comfort and happiness.
- 🤝 Volunteer-Driven Effort: The program is carried out by a team of dedicated volunteers and youth members who visit each locality personally to ensure that every package reaches the right hands.
- 🌾 Symbol of Maternal Care: The name “Mausi Ji” (meaning aunt or maternal caretaker) reflects the spirit of motherly affection and selfless service, which guides the Trust’s community outreach philosophy.
